Plan something special for 2020
In a couple of weeks all the excitement and sparkle of Christmas will be over for another year. It’s a good time to think about what you have achieved and what you want by this time next year. Here are our top three tips for setting your goals in 2020.
Think about yourself
You probably feel that you have worked really hard this year and you’re pleased to be taking a break. That’s a good thing, but don’t wait until next Christmas for another holiday.
Now is a good time to think about what’s important to you.
Make plans so that you will have the time and money to do what you want this year, whether it’s frolicking with your family, pets or friends or jumping on a magic carpet to visit one of those destinations on your ‘I wish’ list. Make a promise to yourself now to make it happen this year.
If you’re worried about spending time away from your business, then talk to one of our glorious Genies. They can magically manage your diary to give you time to spend on the special things in life. They can re-imagine your processes to make them more efficient. They can unravel unnecessary tasks and make them disappear.
Look back to look forward
This might sound like a strange way to create a lucky potion, but it’s worth thinking about the things that made you feel proud and positive this year.
Make sure you include similar things in the mix for next year, to keep your motivation sky high and you eye on the stars.
That could include looking at what other people have been doing. Are there things you have admired. Can you do something similar and make it your own?
If you don’t feel that you have time to do something different, a Genie can help you there too.
Can you imagine what you could achieve if you had a whole day without any phone calls. You can’t? Then it’s time for one of our Genie geniuses to take control of your calls, while you craft some successful sorcery.
Grow your team
If you’re looking for more flexibility to spend time on new things, then an extra pair of hands might be what you need.
We don’t have a magic spell for that, but we do have some excellent options.
One of our experienced Genies could be your amazing assistant, making sure everything runs smoothly and helping to keep it all organised.
If you’re ready to recruit someone to join your team, but are worried about organising job descriptions, personnel requirements, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and contracts, then some Genie gumption is what you need. A Genie can help create a recruitment campaign in no time at all, with a splash and a dash of inspiration to assist you to find the perfect person.
So, make sure you will be looking back on a year full of magical moments next Christmas.
Our Genies are here to make your wishes come true, so just give the magic lamp a polish.

Every business needs The Office Genie!
When I started my Molly Maid business I was overwhelmed with the number of phone calls, the customer enquiries, building a new business and trying to look after two small children - it was all too much.
Then someone mentioned The Office Genie! Jacqui was fantastic, she understood the requirements of a Molly Maid business and within a couple of days the Genies were handling my calls and managing my diary. The number of estimates booked went from 8 to 15 within a week, just shows how many customers didn't leave a message when they called and got my answer-phone.
I can't thank you all enough for the huge support you have given to me and my business
